The team from A H Rogers & Son Funeral Directors, Eastleigh has been busy raising more money for a charity close to their heart.
Funeral Director Nicky Beach and Funeral Arranger Lisa Wicks-Eales held a teddy bears picnic tea party, where they raised over £540 for Aching Arms, thanks to an impressive cake sale and a tombola.
Aching Arms raises awareness of the impact of baby loss and brings comfort to bereaved parents and their families. The charity provides Aching Arms comfort bears to hospitals for midwives to give to newly bereaved mothers and fathers.
Nicky said: “This is a charity which Lisa and I have a real connection to. We are so pleased with how the tea party went and it was a perfect opportunity to catch up with some of the families we have worked with in the past, we were also joined by a few teddy bears too!
“The comfort these bears bring to bereaved parents is incredible, and we will continue to work together to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.”
