On 29th November we had the pleasure of attending the HIOWAA Charity offices in Nursling.
We learnt about their new Aftercare service which has been launched so that patients (and families of deceased patients) can be supported by the amazing team for as long as it’s needed following a medical event which requires the air ambulance’s attendance.
This team of people are simply amazing. We know it costs around £15,000 a day to keep Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance flying in our community and we also know they are funded 100% by donations.
